After years of patrolling, chasing submarines, research & support work the "old lady" is finally retired. Well, not really but as private yacht things are slowing down and everything, except maintenance, gets more relaxed.  Since 2014 she is used as excursion vessel for family and friends, giving everybody on board an idea of how seafaring was decades ago. A really unique experience which, in combination with breathtaking solitary vastness of panamenian & colombian archipelagos, makes you dream about the "good old times".  

ACCOMMODATION

R/V Planet sleeps a total of 12 guests in 6 cabins (with double or double bunk beds + head & shower) located on the forward lower deck. All are well laid out and very clean and comfortable. All guest cabins proved to be very quiet during navigation and rough weather conditions. All cabins are air-conditioned and sufficient storage space is available, reading lights and several 110v sockets. (220 volts sockets are also available). She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure safe & relaxed traveling. Timeless styling, sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an inviting & comfortable atmosphere. The leisure and entertainment facilities make her the ideal for relaxed socialising and entertaining with family and friends.

PERFORMANCE

Built with steel hull and steel/aluminium superstructure she features traditional sponsors to reduce roll motion. With a cruising speed of 8 knots, a maximum speed of 12 knots and a range of 4000nm from her 7200 Gal fuel tanks, she is the perfect excursion vessel.
